Time must surely be running out to get the fifth potential Die Hard film off the ground; Bruce Willis' John McClane is only get closer to his pipe and slippers as each day goes by.
Yet, According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox who have still not got a draft completed to satisfaction, have now started to negotiations with scribe Skip Woods to produce one.
Woods is not exactly a stellar candidate with his previous credits including Hitman, X Men Origins: Wolverine and Swordfish, though the glimmer of hope that is upcoming adaptation of the TV Series The A Team, this may just claw back some creditability.
But Fox want to push ahead after Die Hard 4.O or [Live Free And Die Hard] written by Mark Bomback and directed by Len Wiseman made $378 million worldwide. And that was after a fair amount of ribbing, after all it was released twenty years after the original New York Cop meets terrorist scenario.
