In March we reported that momentum was building on the DreamWorks’ remake of Fright Night, then it was the appointment of director Craig Gillespie. Now, Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Terminator Salvation) is in negotiations to play Charley Brewster in the Vampire Comedy Horror.The film centres on the Vampire living next door and don’t you know it, know one believes Charley when he tells them. So whose he gonna call? A washed up horror actor of course.
As of yet there is no start date for the picture. But the premise for the film is a winner in a post-Zombieland universe a lot of fun can be had with imaginative license. They just have to find an inspired casting like Woody Harrellson
