With Shrek Fourever After completed, franchise director-writer-producer Andrew Adamson has already signed on to direct his next project, a big budget fantasy Fountain City.
Indeed, Adamson is no stranger to the fantasy genre, with the director also credited with producing roles for all three adaptations of the Chronicles of Narnia.
Lightstream Pictures purchased the CG/live action film, after Adamson and scribe Joby Harold pitched Harold’s original idea. It is reported that the budget is projected in excess of $100 million; with the storyline being kept safely under wraps.
